Group Coordinator

The role of a Group Coordinator is to create awareness about Greenpeace campaigns to people on the street, at public places, offices, on phone and at their home and pitch for higher financial support for Greenpeace. The role holder will also be responsible to coordinate the work of a team of fundraising executives.

What will you be doing?

  • Learning about Greenpeace’s campaigns and the Greenpeace core values and principles
  • Approaching members of the public and make presentations on Greenpeace campaigns using a pleasant and engaging style while following guidelines set by the manager
  • Improvising presentation style to keep the public interested in the pitch
  • Building rapport with prospects, clarifying queries and convincing them to donate a high amount or enrolling larger number of supporters
  • Assessing prospects to approach – selecting older individuals, ability to donate a higher amount, and interest in the issue
  • Achieving monthly targets assigned to the role
  • Planning & hosting events at specific locations
  • Reporting back to the Sr. GC/TM about team’s performance, daily activities and any feedback from supporters
  • Accurately recording supporter information on enrollment forms, keeping them safely and submitting them to the team lead
  • Safe keeping of collaterals with the field team

What are we looking for?

  • 1+ years’ experience in a field sales role
  • Good knowledge about at least 1 or 2 public interest news items in the local city/town

Key Account Management Specialist

We are in search of a Key Donor Officer who would develop, manage and grow the Key Accounts Income in line with the organizational growth plan and to establish relations with Key High Net Worth Individuals of Indian society through strong engagement.

Some of the areas where you will create an impact are:

Participate in all aspects of the donor cycle like:

  • Initiate contacts with individuals
  • Develop appropriate cultivation strategies for them
  • Move potential donors in an appropriate and timely fashion toward solicitation and closur
  • Maintain positive contacts with donors
  • Maintain excellent donor relations through personal contacts, phone calls, email and letter correspondence.
  • Coordinate with the respective Fund-Raising Units/Unit Heads, wherever any support is required for the middle donor program

Major Donor Officer

We are in search of a Major Donor Officer who can develop, manage and grow the Major Gifts income in line with the organizational Growth Plan and to establish relations with Key High Net Worth Individuals of Indian society through strong engagement.

  • Initiate contacts with individuals with main focus on face to face meeting.
  • Develop appropriate cultivation strategies for them

  • Ensure all supporter information is correct and updated at regular intervals.
  • Ensure all reports and publications are sent to the supporters on time.

  • Thorough profiling of all the donors in database to identify their interests, wealth band, philanthropy interest etc

  • Co-ordinating with the respective Fund-Raising Units/Unit Heads, wherever any support is required for the Major donor program.

What you will bring to this job:

  • Minimum of 2 years work experience in handling key accounts.
  • Graduate/Post Graduate qualification in management are desirable but not essential
  • Computer literacy is essential as the role requires data generation and analysis

Outreach/Corporate Relations Specialist- Greenpeace India

We are in search of an Outreach/ Corporate Relations Specialist who would help the frontline fundraising team.

What will you be doing?

You will identify and manage outreach opportunities at various venues (Corporate Complexes, Malls, Exhibitions, Residential Complexes & Others) and create a platform for direct dialogue team to interact with employees/executives of those venues.

Some of the other areas where you will create an impact are:

  • Coordinate with the respective Fund Raising Units/Unit Heads, for pan India outreach work.
  • Recommend solutions to supporters and corporate on various Environmental issues with the help of campaigners / external agencies.
  • Develop a database (given territory) of qualified venues through various sources like internet, referrals, telephone, F2F cold calling & networking.
  • Create and conduct effective proposal presentations of client’s which needs to be presented at the potential venues.
  • Coordinate with outreach counterparts to develop case studies for National permissions.
  • Responsible for sourcing and developing patron relationships and referrals.
  • Responsible for identifying and building effective centers of Influence Network with other NGOs to maximize the outreach result.

Corporate Partnership Manager

We’re looking for a Corporate Partnerships / Outreach Manager who would formulate and execute strategies to lead the outreach operations across India. Outreach is a process where fundraising event and engagement takes place in venues where we get the opportunity to address segmented audience and convince them to come on board as financial donors . These venues can be a space in corporates, exhibitions, malls, Metro stations, Public Transport hubs etc., where we would require permission to work and raise funds. You will be managing the Outreach Program team for our client Greenpeace India, an International Environmental NGO.

This individual would need to be a people person, confident in building relationship on a Pan India basis with decision makers, by articulating the issue of climate change . The incumbent would need to closely work with the National Manager and the Director and other senior members of the Fundraising Department to design and implement a dynamic program that will identify, cultivate, and maximize relationships for the outreach program.

Scope of Activities:

  • Develop and maintain a process to establish relationship with the decision makers of outreach venues
  • Set up a process to maintain record of activity, permissions, data on venues, FR results and outreach contacts.
  • Provide direction and leadership to the outreach teams across all the offices.
  • Follow developments in external business sectors and accordingly looking at opportunity for outreach growth
  • Ensure that there is clarity in communication with the venue’s so that it does not lead to co-branding.

Training Manager

We are in search of a ‘Training Manager’, the training manager will be in charge of training our field based fundraising staff & team leaders. This is a team of 100+ employees spread across 5 cities in the country. You will develop training modules that cover induction, functional/technical skills, soft skills & management development. Your primary role will be to identify the training needs of the field staff and develop both in-house and third party training using a range of learning tools. You will have a team of 4-5 training officers to implement the training plans.

What will you do?

  • Work with fundraising managers to identify training needs and trends within the development & fundraising sector
  • Design training solutions both in-house and with expert third parties
  • Develop and implement the training calendar for the year
  • Develop appropriate training manuals
  • Deliver training sessions to the staff using a variety of approaches
  • Recruit, manage and oversee the development of your team of trainers based in the different cities
  • Manage the training budget

Deputy Organization Director

Deputy  Organizational Director is responsible for the overall Financial Management, Human Resource, Operations,Admin  of the organization. This is a strategic leadership role reporting to the CEO.

Financial Management

  • Guide the finance team to analyse and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner
  • Responsible for the management of the finance team and delivery of the financial objectives of the organisation
  • Meeting with regulatory compliance with respect to Financial operations
  • Oversee external consultant and internal team to produce all financial reporting and reconciliation activities of the organization including all month-end and year-end close. Provide support in the annual budgeting and planning process to the  CEO; administer and review financial plans and budgets in consultation with the CEO; continuously review and share revenue, cash and expense results and projections; monitor progress and changes and keep the senior leadership team abreast of the organization’s financial status. Liaison with independent auditors to ensure a successful year-end audit.

Human Resources 

Oversee all human resource functions including payroll, new employee on-boarding, compensation, benefits management, legal compliance and staff reviews.

Advise  and recommend updates to human resource policies and strategy as needed in partnership with the Human Resource Manager, and OD

Administration

Oversee administrative functions as well as facilities to ensure efficient and consistent operations as the organization scales. Work closely and transparently with all external partners including third-party vendors and consultants. Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, such as labour laws, data protection, and occupational health and safety

Applied knowledge and skill

  • 7-10 years’ experience in the Organisational Development functions – a good understanding of Finance with good knowledge of  HR.
  • Demonstrated ability to create complex organizational budgets and general accounting experience including month-end/year-end close and overseeing annual audit experience.
  • Technology savvy with experience selecting and overseeing software installations and managing relationships with software vendors; knowledge of accounting and reporting software
  • Strong preference for formal management qualifications –like (MBA- General Management/Finance/HR/CA/CS).
